The Mexican National Coat of Arms is featured on the reverse side. The words “Estados Unidos Mexicanos” appear above the coat of arms. The current coat of arms is encircled by the previous ten coats of arms in Mexico on the non-fractional coin of the Libertad series, making this coin different than its larger counterparts. The additional coats are removed because of the restricted area available on this fractional piece.   The obverse face of this coin remains the same as all other Mexican Libertads in the series.
