Description
In 2016, the Korean Minting and Security Printing Corporation (KOMSCO) unveiled a new series of gold and silver medallions celebrating the time-honored stories of Chiwoo Cheonwang – a legendary warrior whose numerous battlefield victories earned him the mythological title, “God of War” among ancient Chinese and Korean people. Each release in the series depicts Chiwoo in a different pose as he prepares for war and leads his troops into battle.
