I received this nineteenth century Russian coin for my European coin collection of the era with historical significance. The coin had no major defects only even average wear and good color. The evenness of the wear without defect tells me this coin was carefully carried perhaps worn by rubbing for good luck. It connects me to the past.

I have kept this coin in my wish list for some time. I had to purchase since the .25 AGW works well for my stack. I wanted this coin to join with my Russian Chervonet from the Cold War period. The Ruble arrived in a better than expected grade and I couldn’t be happier to enjoy the Beautiful Russian crest of the house of Romanov.
