  1. A GOLD BUG I AM NOT

Seen this in the “Deals” section listed in Average Condition and thought I’d try one. The one I received was minted 1964 which probably explained the almost BU condition. I was delighted!
Nice way to add smaller weight bullion at low premiums.
    I will buy again.

  2. Jack

Delighted to receive an Edward VII. Attracted by the premium discount sale. A piece of history. Lower premium than a quarter ounce American Eagle, but still well known by coin and precious metal enthusiasts. Many thanks to the Apmex pickers and staff.

  3. Auric No

Ordered 5 of these, all but one were more than 100 years old and the condition was better than I expected.

  4. Meow

I bought one just to see if i liked it, and i did…. so i bought a bunch more.
I love feel of the coins, and what I got looked generally above average.

  5. Dave

Most of the many British Sovereign Gold coins I have purchased, are in super nice condition and better than the avg circ condition as advertised. (many look uncirculated) Also, I have received many various old dated coins which I like. APMEX has the best prices and best service anywhere I have found in the country. It has always been easy to reach persons at APMEX on the phone. Packages are sealed and secure and delivered to my door with a signature. Absolutely an excellent company to deal with, and very good prices.

  6. Bryan from Michigan

these are great coins. the price over spot isn’t bad and they made so many for so long its fun to see what you get. got a 1907 the first time. would love a king George next

  7. Fillionaire

Bought 15 of those, 13 of them were 2016-2022 (Queen Elizabeth). Not what I expected. Definitely not random.

  8. TheRGz

These coins were a great way go start collecting some gold and not just silver. it makes diversifying in precious metals easy.

Here are a few reasons why these are so special:
    1) Historical. You’re holding something that savers since the British Empire & Victorian Era held onto (not to mention all the WW1 and WW2 soldiers and pilots who carried these)
    2) Strategic savings for budgeters not too far from spot.
    3) The British SAS often carry these when on dangerous missions on foreign soil.
    4) They blend in with your pocket change and can take a beating!
    5) World recognition. You can sell these anywhere for local currency.
    6) You’ll literally feel a connection to Britain (especially after you visit for the first time)
BONUS: Remember the hunter from the first Jumanji film? Those were Sovereigns he used to buy the rifle in the gun shop scene ๐Ÿ˜‰
