These coins were struck when Hungary was part of the Austro-Hungarian empire. This not only included modern day Austria and Hungary but a large part of southeastern Europe as well.

    great for gift or collect.

I bought this coin as a present for my father. It has a beautiful design and all though the coin is quite small, it is much cheaper that the 100 Korona coin.
The coin I received had a small nick near the edge of the coin but was otherwise in good condition.
The shipping to Australia good, the order was able to be tracked using the ups website. The order was well packed when received.

Simply put, I could not be more pleased with this purchase. The coin is absolutely beautiful. I’m attaching photos of the exact coin I received, so you can judge for yourself. Apmex knocked this one out of the park, imho.

  4. CC Rider

I am enticed by the design which uses a full figure rather than a bust on the obverse and different symbols such as angels on the reverse. There is some chatter in the fields but no one mark of severity.

  5. MFrederick

Received a better than expected Hungary gold Korona. The coin had less than average bag marks, good luster, and appears to be almost uncirculated–AU-55+. I am well pleased with the price and selection from a random mix.

  6. Dusty Muleteer

I bought this recently, and it is one of my favorite coins. The rear design really makes it: two gold angels holding between them the elaborate coat of arms of Hungary. Even on a fairly small coin, the design is very easy to see. These would make great gifts for people who like angels.

  7. Mark A

Dated 1903, this 20 Korona is well struck with great detail and clear edge lettering. Nice luster with a dent free rim, a strong XF coin.

  8. thomas

better than was posted – clean clear and crisp coin

  9. Boris

The condition of the received coin is generally good – detail, luster etc., but it has a quite noticeable dent (nick) on the rim right above the figure of the Emperor, which a little bit spoils the impression of perfection, unfortunately, and may impact resaleability.
