Description

These $10 Indians have met the test of time and survived the Gold Reserve Act of 1934 which outlawed most private ownership of Gold. Remaining nearly uncirculated with just the slightest bit of wear, these Gold coins circulated 80-100 years ago.

I really like these coins, the Mint should still be making them. Their a real icon of American history which makes them that much more interesting.

I’ve only ever bought silver from APMEX but have long admired their pre-1933 offerings. One can only look so much so I decided to take the plunge. The AU $10 Indian Gold Eagle I received is a thing of beauty. There’s a very small hint of a black mark visible only under a 20x magnifying glass. I can live with that and accepted it as micro patina marking this coin as mine. I don’t regret the purchase and will in time (and budget) place more pre-1933 orders through. Thanks APMEX!

Even priced at a premium to $10Lib’s, these Indians are strikingly attractive.

Great Coin, I don’t know why I have waited for so long to add one of these to my Pre-33 coinage. Coin is a solid AU with minimal circulation wear. While the coin is a common variant 1912 P this is the year my adopted state joined the Union. Thank You Customer Service for picking another winner

  7. Cherokee Indian I am.

This is an attractive coin and a reminder of the days of real money. My 1914 coin arrived in good shape.

Recently I ordered two Indian AU eagles, one a 1932 and one a random date. Both coins arrived today and look very appealing! The random date is 1910 and there are minimal bag marks; I’m happy with the coin. And I’m delighted with the 1932 AU: just some tiny bag marks on the reverse, on the body of the eagle, and to me, they don’t detract at all from the visual appeal of the coin. Both coins have excellent luster.
